eWater Group exists to make water management better

eWater Group exists to make water management better

We do this in the interests of our government members, stakeholders, clients, and customers and on behalf of the Australian people who have invested in us.

Jointly owned by all Australian governments

eWater provides stewardship, management, development, enhancement, skills-building, research, access, and transparency in water management and modelling tools, capability, and capacity.

From our beginnings as part of Australia’s Cooperative Research Centre Program in 2005, eWater Limited was established by Australian Federal, State and Territory governments to safely steward and take forward the nation’s hydrological modelling capabilities developed over decades. We have built on the expertise of government agencies, scientific research institutions, technical experts, and policy professionals, and keep these capabilities contemporary, current and responsive to new circumstances, demands and challenges.
